Founded In 2011, by husband-and-wife team Ilya and Nadia Senchuk with a clear vision: to craft world-class wines that authentically express the unique terroirs of Niagara. With a dream of starting the winery, Illya and Nadia Senchuk acquired a farmhouse on 11 acres of land through hardwork, and dedication they have built a winery that has surpassed their wildest dreams.

At the heart of Leaning Post is a commitment to terroir, every wine is created to showcase the distinct soils, climate and landscapes that shape Niagara’s vineyards. Though small lot production and minimal intervention approach the winery allows each vineyard’s unique identity to shine through in the glass.

Today, Leaning Post is recognized as one of Ontario's most respected wineries, with wines featured in leading restaurants across Canada and internationally. Certified Sustainable by Sustainable Winegrowing Ontario, the winery remains committed to responsible stewardship of the land, ensuring that future generations can continue to experience the richness and diversity of Niagara's terroir.
